Victim ID'd In Fatal Long Island Crash

Authorities have identified a person who was killed in an early-morning crash on Long Island.

The incident happened in Farmingdale, near the intersection of Fulton and Staples streets, shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Nassau County Police said a Honda SUV was heading southbound on Fulton Street when it struck a man riding a bicycle.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The 37-year-old man driving the Honda was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, police identified the victim as 41-year-old Antonio Jesus Vicente Sanic, of Farmingdale.
